Analogue Text Messaging

It typically takes about an hour to create a square inch of handmade lace. The process of texting is the exact opposite— instantaneous and rapid and uncomfortable to me. I made this miniature lace pillow and designed this pricking pattern imagining what it would be like if I could slow down and take my time getting back to you.
